Ok, let me rephrase that a little. I have found a couple, but I don't have $175 to dump on a wire harness. The engine was only $200, haha.pox wrote::bs

Re: DOHC B6 wiring harness to BP
That would be great, except for the fact that there aren't many around. I have called every junk yard in florida and been watching ebay for a month now. These things just aren't that common.

Re: DOHC B6 wiring harness to BP
Well the main thing is the DOHC b6 has 4 individual wires for the injectors where the BP only has 2 (1&3 , 2&4 are tied together) http://www.mx-3.com/phpBB3/viewtopic.php?f=3&t=53145&p=369648" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false; Should I just cut the wire on my #3...

Re: DOHC B6 wiring harness to BP
I must be blind then. I can't find anything regarding wiring to a BP10 ecu with the DOHC harness. http://www.mx-3.com/phpBB3/viewtopic.php?f=46&t=62251&start=45" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false; Those are the only diagrams I can find which don't mention the injectors o...

Re: DOHC B6 wiring harness to BP
Mi|<E did the swap into a 94 which would be a SOHC. Also, the wiring he posted up only explains the dash wiring, not the injectors, etc...

DOHC B6 wiring harness to BP
Hey everyone, I finally got my mx-3 on the road. It feels great to be driving it again! However I am running the BP on my DOHC b6 ecu. I already have a BP10 ecu sitting in my car but I know I need to change some wires on the harness. I have searched high and low for what needs to be done to my harne...

Re: Exhaust adapter for b6 to bp downpipe
So after looking over my exhaust a bit, I have noticed that the BP exhaust manifold has a different flange then my mx-3 downpipe. Also, the manifold doesn't point straight down, the part closest to the engine is angled about 10degrees up. Would finding a downpipe from a 93 mx-3 fix this problem? I d...

Re: Exhaust adapter for b6 to bp downpipe
I'm guessing because I have a 95 DOHC mx-3 is the reason it won't line up. Of course none of the junkyards around here have the downpipe for the protege either. I'm going to try to weld something together later to see if I can make it work. I have a lot of extra exhaust piping around my work.

Exhaust adapter for b6 to bp downpipe
Hey guys, Finally got the BP running in my mx-3. Just a couple small problems to figure out then it will be road worthy again. For one, I need to get rid of the "harley sound" and figure out how to connect my exhaust, haha. From what i could find, it sounds like I need the downpipe from th...

Look what fell into my MX-3
Hey guys, check out what is in my mx-3 now :) http://www.zreon.com/mx-3/bp.jpg Its not quite finished yet. I need to put my axles back on and figure out a little more wiring. I decided to keep my mx-3 harness so a little modification was required. Hoping to finish her up today. I sure hope she start...

Anyone swap a 97+ Kia Sephia Engine?
Has anyone swapped a engine from a newer Kia Sephia (97-01?) in a mx-3? I have found a few threads that say it should work because it is just a slightly modified BP. If it is going to be too big of a headache I can still take it back and swap it for a 93 protege engine. I would like to keep this eng...

Thanks for the pictures. Where exactly is that code at though? I'm having a hard time figuring that out from the picture.
