check in the engine bay at the steering linkage. check to see if there's a rag joint. if there is, that's probably you're problem.

i believe it goes to one of the small temp sensors on the head. the fpr has a cold start pressure setting. i think there's one or two temp sensors on the side of the head where the disty is, and one on the front side of the head all the way to the right near the disty. my memory is a little fuzzy, s...

for a good tubular manifold that will fit this application, that's not a bad price at all. i did a lot of shopping for a manifold right before i sold the car. there are NO miata manifolds that will work on this setup. you have hood and radiator clearance issues. plus they won't warranty the product ...

it's next to impossible to sell the awd tranny. if you're paying extra for the engine because it has the awd tranny...don't. you can get the motor from plenty of other places that sell it cheaper w/o the tranny.

also, why are you wanting an mx3 tranny? get a 90-94 pro lx or 91-95 egt tranny.

are you getting power to the coil? you might want to try to get ahold of a wiring diagram to help you trace the problem. the "crackle" very well could be a short somewhere. find it fast if that's the case. i had to replace an entire haltech harness because i had a short and a large part bu...

also, with using the itty bitty vj20, a 3" i/c is a little big. it doesn't flow enough to use up the i/c completely which could affect the effeciency of your setup.

please note that 22psi doesn't really mean much. all that means is how much the turbo has to work to get to a certain point. running 15psi on a vj20 is different than running 15psi on a huge t3/t04. the bigger turbo flows more cfm, so it's psi level will be lower to achieve the same outcome. the mor...

i'm definitely an advocate of the sleeper/anti-rice look. i went with a summit racing turbo muffler. i think the 3" model is about $20 or so. mine had a real nice sound to it. the best part, it looks factory. hell, i even spraypainted mine black to make it harder to see. really helps the sleepe...
