he swapped in a 1.6 mtx cause at the time he had a custom b6t. when that motor messed up, he swapped in the BPT and kept the "stock" 1.6 tranny

yeah, the only thing that needs to be done is the drive shaft. you have to use the BPT/BPD joint shaft bracket(motors are the same externally)and the mx-3 shaft. the only problem is it's about a 1/2 in. too long. shouldn't be too hard to do. but yes, they are both awd cars. the tranny mounts up othe...

how much do they run? i read that you had some turbo setup parts. do you have a front mount intercooler? also, did you have to gut your hood latch? what hp/psi is the intercooler rated at? thanks

it's possible. e-mail cork sport and ask them to send you the write-up on it. i recommend a bp series motor. but the b6t will work fine.

if you're talking about making the mx rear wheel drive(that's the only way the miata tranny will work) you will need a lot of money. if you want a rear wheel drive mazda, you'd be better off buying the miata...or even better..the rx-7.

unless you're into heavty autocross, you really won't feel the rear discs. drums are fine for moderate racing....it just looks better. the fuel pump might fit. you'll have to check that out, cause i think some models don't. but unless you're going the forced induction route or poppin' giggle, you re...
