Re: B&M Short Shift Kit
when you say fully adjustable, do you mean it's like those "robo-shifters"?

Re: The B6T will soon be mine!
no probs for me as far as the hood goes. your motor sits straight up in the engine bay. mine sits like the factory motor at a tilt. i believe if you put your intake manifold on the b6t, you won't have to cut a hole..but i'm not sure about that. check it out.

Re: The B6T will soon be mine!
congrats bro. if you don't mind me asking...what's the apexi cpu? are you talking about the apex super air flow converter(s-afc)? either way, that's cool. i found a 323 gtr motor. hopefully it will be done by christmas. when do you plan on having this complete? get a dyno before and after so you can...

Re: B6T
those g-techs can actually be off by up to half a second. so u'r time will be whatever +/- .5. but yeah, keep me posted on how it goes. why do you need injector insulators? didn't it come with the correct injectors in it?

Re: Who has a BPT swap?
i think that the axels....driveshafts might be the same because when i talked to derrick, all he said was that i need the tranny, flywheel, and driveshafts.

Re: turbo boost controller
keep your 2.5in exhaust. you'll lost hp for now. but when you put in the new motor, you'll be fine.

Re: Stock pipe, or Wider exhaust pipe better?
if you don't have a substantial increase in air coming in, you'll have no need for a bigger exhaust.

Re: Who has a BPT swap?
from what i know..i'd say no. but you might want to post this ? on the group forum. but i think this isn't necessary. just the driveshafts.

Re: Dumb Questions
about the cams. dual cams equal more valves...sohc 8v, dohc 16v(though i have read of a sohc 16v...anyway) aftermarket cams extend the duration of opening and closing your intake and exhaust ports...letting more air in...and getting more air out. 2 key items in the "more power" thing.

Re: Screwed
if you're talking about a v6 swap into a 4cyl...not recommended. about the rx-7...are talking about dropping in the motor(need lots and lots of money) or buying the car? either way, the rx-7 is faster.

Re: Screwed
damn bro, sorry to hear that. try taking the valve cover back off. there should be some of the bolt sticking up. you some vicegrips to get it out. go to the junk yard and tell them you need another bolt. hope this helps.

Re: Who has a BPT swap?
yes the protege lx/escort gt tranny will fit. it's the recommended tranny. you'll also need the drive shafts and flywheel for that tranny
