Re: The B6T is alive!!
congrats. which b6t version do you have?
(n. american=132hp, j-spec=150hp, and european=140hp) what do you think you can get out of it before you get inside the motor? what about block integrity....how much can it hold? is there a way to strengthen the block?
[ October 30, 2001: Message edited...

Re: Sunroof?
as far as sunroofs leaking...it depends on the quality. just take care of the seals and don't let them dry out and you'd be fine. most dealerships can put in a motorized one for about 5-700 bucks. and as for the gs being the only one with a power moon roof...i have one on my lil' 4 banger

Re: New to all of this
if it's in "perfect" condition and say has power everything, sliding sunrood, abs....
from a dealer you shouldn't pay more than 5,800
from a private party you shouldn't pay more than 4,700

Re: Weird Idle Problem
do you have a multi meter? if so, check the voltage on it. sometimes the actual solenoid goes bad. i don't know what the actual readings on this car should be. check the online manual...maybe it's in there.

Re: front mount intercooler
i was just looking at that. i think the hood latch can stay. but the brace from the hood latch to the bottom of the radiator has to go. is there anything else holding the radiator from the bottom? it seemed like it, but it's kinda dark and i couldn't really see.

Re: swap idea 4cyl
why the double posts? no matter. if you're talking about putting in another motor and slapping on a turbo, it would be cheaper to buy the b6t. either way you look at it, you would have to get bigger injectors, some type of fuel controller, and other items. your best bet is to get the b6t or bpt(d). ...

Re: The new 2001 MX-3
the crazy thing is that this car has been around since 97 yet i've never seen nor heard anything about it.
for those wondering...it has a 1.7L 125hp motor. in 99, it came with an optional 1.7L 155hp in the "racing puma".
