The haltech is like over a grand and then you need a laptop to tune it and on top of that you need a load of dynotime which is the only way to actually tune it.. Ohh and if you make a mistake tuning the haltech then you could throw a rod out the side of your brand new engine. I know a few people wh...

Re: Help out a noobie...
don't take this the wrong way, but you're car is slow. if you're on a tight budget, it will stay slow. there's not a lot out there that's going to make it much better w/o putting some money in it. if you're into the whole bodykit thing, i'd go that route. if you're looking for performance, start sav...

Re: BPT swap parts needed
again, it depends on what year your car is. if you have a '92-93, a cheaper route, though not as good, is to go with the bpt ecu. if you have a '94+, i'd go with the stand-alone.

for the best results, use a standalone system.

Re: The Question.. NEED HELPPLEASE READ IF YOU HAVE BPT
IMO, which doesn't count for much, i would go with a bp swap. slightly higher compression and a better flowing head are some of the reasons. on a budget? just grab the ecu and wiring harness from the pro lx/escort gt(protege gt in Canada?). once you get some time/money, you can turbo the bp, and get...
