i hope you've already tried this, and i apologise if you have, but make sure the dimmer switch is up to full. then check your fuse box, i'm not sure where the specific fuse for instrumentation lighting is but that might fix it.

look for pulleys for the 2.5L V6 (Kl-03) fromt he probe gt, mx-6 v6, etc. it'll work on the 1.8L.

you should have a control panel on the driver's side that closes both windows and locks them. b/c of this the shape is different. don't worry, its normal (or at least, we have the same problem!).

yeah, the "old" dash style is a lot cleaner than that weird new one. i almost bought a canadian '95 until I saw the dash in my '93...between that and the mileage difference i got the 93 in a hurry.
