Re: turbo charging your 1.8l V6!!
any custom turbo shop will fabricate one for you. it'll just take a long time, and be very expensive. look into doing it yourself.

Re: Crazy Shaking!
its a pretty common thing for the autos to shift hard from 1-2 and down from 2-1. i'm not really sure if this is what is happening to you, but if that's it then get the transmission fluid changed and maybe invest in a tranny cooler. that seems to help.

Re: get shocked when close door!
interestingly, on my old car i'd get shocked with the cloth seats, but when i replaced them with leather it stopped. a friend of mine with an old saab never got shocked until he covered the torn leather with cloth seat covers. the cause in both cases was static electricity.

Re: Too many options... need much input!!!
i'd get a BPT or B6T. swapping to the V6 is a PAIN from what i hear, so for the HP and money you should get a four cylinder and just tune it really well. hope that helps!

if dynamat is hard to lay down, there are some sound deadening sprays out there that can help, too.

Re: MX-3 vs Celica, RSX
i've been up against a new celica before (GT). she had me off the line but i caught up towards the end of the rev range (where the mx-3 makes most of its power, anyway) and after that we were dead even. both of the cars were autos (yuk, i know) so in a manual the only real difference would be the dr...

Re: 1.8 Turbo
you will need to: fabricate a manifold basically from scratch; hook up the oil lines from your oil pan to the turbo; run piping to and from a front-mount intercooler; fabricate a pipe from the turbo to the rest of the exhaust; relacate battery to rear (just to make more space). plus all the fitting ...

ok, the results are in: 30mph goes by at about 5500rpms. the tires have never chirped off the line, although they scrabble around a bit in the rain like most cars.
