i finally got my timing belt parts and everything had to do with the timing stuff.. to my suprise the tensioner arm was soo damn loose.. i took everything out and yeah the arm was covered with dioty oil which used to be in the arm.. i didnt finish the job though i started around 5pm today everything...

solid ones huh well wouldnt this be more louder than the other normal hlas'? i think it would probably wear down the vavle train faster if the lifters didnt have a form of cushion. BTW does anyone know the specs on all the HLAs for all K series motors cuz i heard theres slight differences.. thanks g...

well today i double checked with my timing issues and i found out that the crank pulley was at 10 btdc and the front cam pulley (alternator side) is lined up with the mark... but... my rear cam (power steering side) is behind 1 or 2 tooths behind the cam pulley marks i was suprised.. is this the rea...

just wanted to know if ur timing belt is loose like u can EASILY push the timing belt down with ur fingers... that means my timing belt tensioner is screwed right??? that would cause my cam pulleys to skip couple toothes on the timing belt making my engine tick like madd? please reply guys the noise...
