dose anyone know if the 94-97 kia bp is the same as the 95-98 protege bp?

according to the below page:

the 95-98 protege es bp dose has no oil squirters and less aggressive camshafts is this the same with the 1994-1997 kia bp's

what year MX-3 and what are you trying to do.. My mx3 is a 94 It has 170k miles on it, and i smell burnt oil every time i get off the highway. i figured because i need a new motor why not get a one with more power. I have not seen any lower millage bp's when ever i have been to the local junkyards ...

Thanks for the info, but what about wiring/ecu? I have seen that post with the wrightup for a newer bp, but are there any differances between useing the wiring from a 95+ protege vs a 90-94 in a 94 mx3
