dose anyone know if the 94-97 kia bp is the same as the 95-98 protege bp?

what year MX-3 and what are you trying to do.. My mx3 is a 94 It has 170k miles on it, and i smell burnt oil every time i get off the highway. i figured because i need a new motor why not get a one with more power. I have not seen any lower millage bp's when ever i have been to the local junkyards ...

I dont think i will find a 99+ miata head at a junkyard to easily.
