Re: Engine to Tranny gasket

There's a metal gasket between engine block and transmission cover (at least on my V6 MX3). Starter is mounted to tranny cover, so the gasket is not intended to hold it in place. There is a gasket and I had in my hands when I removed the tranny. :)

Re: Why did you buy the MX-3?

In summer of 2006 my friend was looking for another Mazda, for his girlfriend. He found black MX-3 which was crashed on front a little bit, so he asked me to go to see the car. We met there with former owner and I've checked the car, it required repair of the front end. My friend decided not to buy ...

Re: Mooneggs 1992 gs "slow car" International Project

It should turn on and off AC compressor (electromagnetic clutch in it) depending on preset temperature and save you some fuel. That's why ECO. :) imho

Re: egr valve went out.

I want to migrate EGR valve from KL to K8. Yes, they test exhaust gas for everything, it is very strict here. 8)

Re: egr valve went out.

Marcdh, thank you! I've got one spare EGR valve with 21k kms on it and my old in MX3 went out. Good to know it fits. :)

PS: I don't want blocking plate. I want to have my emissions as low as possible and pass emission tests without any problem.

Re: Installing Chrome Miata Handles

I am planning to install chrome handles from Mazda 626 GF (2000-2002 - facelift). It was sold in Europe and I think it has the same handles as MX-5, but maybe without that alu part which you had to remove. Thank you for the post, I can see now how it looks, it is perfect!! :)

A little off-topic off-car :) question:

Would EGR from KL fit K8?

Re: What is that?

MX-3-Tom:

I was trying to find this part in EPC, but I didn't find it. Try to call your local Mazda dealer and ask for part with number:

BR86-67-701A

"A" means it is modified, so it should be in some older models as well, or another Mazda models.

Re: What is that?

I am going to install cruise control in EU MX-3 V6 and there's nothing like that mentioned in wiring diagrams or list of CC parts anywhere. So I think it has nothing to do with cruise control kit, it looks like relay for something, but I don't think CC kit needs relay, according to MX-3 wiring diagr...

Re: solo_ryder: great seller

Highly recommended!

We did a swap - EU vents against crusie control module with connectors. Shipping was very fast, lightning fast really and he is a wonderful person to communicate with. :)

Thank you, Jordan.

Finally, Mark was quicker than me and sent me a huge box full of WONDERFUL MX-3 parts, which I am very grateful for! His box is on the way.. :) I am happy I no...

Oil pressure sensor

Hello friends, I need to replace my oil pressure sensor on my 1993's MX-3 K8-DE. The original is something like 0.2 bar spec, but I've also found one with 0.4 bar spec. My question is, which one is better to use, for my car the 0.2 is recommended, what could happen if I put there 0.4 bar? Thank you ...
