Re: Fuel cutoff
My pleasure, OutlaW. :) I forgot about the other difference. Temperature gauge on dashboard - there's difference between 91-93 a post 94 models. 91-93: Normal needle temperature position is 5 degrees above center position. 94+ models: Normal needle temperature position is 5 degrees below center posi...

Re: LPG/GAS Hybrid MX-3 by MX3ak
Ah, good to know we have such durable engines! :) But why there are oils specially created for engines running on LPG? That's strange for me then.. Only business? Who knows.. I still prefer Natural95 anyway. And talking about more enviro-friendly fuels, I would like to have hydrogene K8,oh, t...

Re: Fuel cutoff
OutlaW, it seems you've put two videos of two different model years. The first is yours, model 1994, the second video is model 1991. Difference is 1991's model had K819 engine and 1994's model had K838 engine. It was still K8, but sligthy different for facelifted model, with less hp (4 or 5 hp), but...

Re: Distributor KL01 - problem
I rechecked everything 4 times.
No dead connections, but I haven't checked for the vacuum leaks.. What should I check and where? When I slightly press gas pedal, I can hear "wsssss" sound from somewhere, I couldn't locate it.

Re: Distributor KL01 - problem
Yes I can feel smell of the fuel, but only sometimes.. Sometimes it is good, engine runs smoothly and sometimes it is really bad, rough idle, poor acceleration.. Now it is all the same, poor. I have new cables, new NGK spark plugs from Mazda (they have 1000 km)..

Re: Alarm: Magicar 8000B
Oh! I really don't know who sells it in Canada/USA. :( Their webpage is: http://www.magicar.com" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false; English version doesn't feature the newest model 100 AS. Only 9000, which is 8000B with remote starting feature. I can get it in Slovakia without a...

Re: LPG/GAS Hybrid MX-3 by MX3ak
There are many cars driving on LPG in my country, especially VW-group cars like Volkswagen, Audi, Skoda, Seat. Plus some older cars. I had a friend who had LPG in Mazda 626, the car ended in flames. :( Anyway, I've heard it is not recommended to put LPG system in cars which are not tested with it. F...

Alarm: Magicar 8000B
I have new alarm in my car. After one week of using it I became quite familiar with all its functions and features. I would recommend this alarm to anybody who wants quite good security for not a lot money. It is Magicar 8000B . There is a new model of this called Magicar 100 AS, but I really don't ...

Distributor KL01 - problem
My distributor's gone.. Doesn't work anymore, the car smokes and shakes like crazy. My question is.. Since I rebuilt the engine it was taking more and more engine oil, compression test is OK, but here's my question: Could misfiring cause oil consumption? I mean if there was unburnt fuel left in comb...
