Re: Air Conditioning
I did add a/c to my 92 soch. I installed a 94 compressor: this way I could fill it with r134 without retrofit. I bought the parts from a scrap yard and installed them myself. Cost me 700$cnd + 50$ for belts, o-rings,... and 85$ to have the a/c checked for leaks and filled up with r134. I used the on...

Re: Turbo in 1.6 SOHC
Well, I did'nt know the mx3 had only 88hp when I bought it. Should've bought the gs. I don't want to end up with 200hp and not being able to use all of it without being a danger to the public and myself. I would also like to do most of the work myself: to learn more about my car and to reduce costs....

Re: Turbo in 1.6 SOHC
I'm saving some $ to turbo my 1.6 soch. My plan is to get 130hp out of the engine with a vj14. Anyone knows how much torque I can expect to have at 130hp? Cause if I can't get more than 115 lb/ft, I think I'll go and buy a GS!
[ May 06, 2002: Message edited by: Swego ]

Re: need help painting interior
Marshmallow15 is right, paint runs out of a can fast. I was able to paint 2 layers of clear over all those plastic parts with 1 regular size can. The clear I used had the following instructions: apply 2nd layer within 1 hour of the last application or wait 5 days for clear to crystalize. Unless you ...

If you have a modified or aftermarket shifter, you might want to check that the shifter is not to close to your cat.

Re: clicking sound
If your cv joints are bad they'll make noise when you accelerate, especially when you accelerate and turned. You can easyly check if it's your cv's in a parking lot. Turn the wheels to one side at max, accelerate slowly. Repeat turning other side.
I have a recuring sound on my car and I'm waiting ...
