Re: what kind of clutch should i get

I think Stage 4 is overkill unless you drag race all the time. And I think the pedal is going to be harder on a Stage 4 clutch (ask your dealer). I also have a ClutchMaster dual friction and there's plenty of grip for my 88hp. I paid 400$cnd for mine so shop around.

Re: Driving Standard

I sometimes run my mx3 up to 6000-6500rpm in 1st and 2nd. I always wait till the engine is warmed up before doing so.<p>[ June 11, 2002: Message edited by: Swego ]

Re: Super, Turbo & Nitrous?

Supercharger and turbocharger both boost the car performance by increasing the air flow into the engine(they act as air compressor). Increasing the airflow lets you increase the fuel flow to. In the end you get more air and fuel into the chamber of the engine, which creates a more powerfull explosio...

Re: dash

To remove the vents I used a flat head screwdriver to pop them out. There are no screws holding the driver and passenger vents. To remove the part around the gauges you have to remove 5 screws: three on the "gauge hole ceiling" and two other screws hidden behind a rubber at the bottom of t...

Re: Change Shifter

I don't think a short throw shifter will help you with your difficulty to shift in 1st and rear. It will be harder to shift with a short throw shifter because you get less leverage out of the arm.

Re: no bpt...going to turbocharge 1.6 sohc

I'm not to sure if puting the intercooler above the engine is such a good idea. The intercooler is there to cool off the air coming out of the turbo, heat rising from the engine can be a problem.

Re: BIG TIME PROBLEMS!!!!

I don't think a hole in your muffler can make you lose power that much. Maybe you have ignition problems (spark plug not firing, so you run on 3 cyl instead of 4). Had this problem with my last car. It can be a number of things, have the car checked.
