i put in a dohc harness from another mt car a new fuel pump relay which i can now hear when i turn the key. theres 1 wire with 12 volts on the top post and the black and green wire on the 3 wire post has 8.5-10 volts the other three read zero. could both of my distributors that were good 2 weeks ago...

what about probe gt's, mx6's, 626's, millenias? if you search you'll find how easy it is to swap in klde or ze compared to a honda swap etc. any of those with 2.5 v6 are 164 hp i believe

ur rods bent or you thru a bearing- new motor or rebuild would be my guess

okay the wire that overheated is green and corroded by the looks of it it broke as it passes the battery but im sure this isnt what originally cause the problem unless a corroded wire could of been the culprit the whole time its the middle of the 3 i dont know what color tho since all the insulation...

wow that diagram is hard to interpret it seems like the fuel inj. fuse has to do with a lot of components on the car. i wish someone has had this problem before...lol... well im going to take the diagram out follow the wire as its the center one out of the 3 attached to that circuit thats overheated...

ive been searching and cant find a wiring diagram. or neone else with the same problem except one v6 guy who they diagnosed it over the phone so i duno what the end result was. has neone with the b6 had this fuse blow before. the first time it did it was sitting at idle the second driving on the 401...

well it wasnt actually a fire but the wire burnt the insulation rite off of it. the car started to blow the main fuel injector fuse under the hood nd left me stranded on the 401 nd the spare fuse was a 40 so i put it in which was obviously a bad move. thats when the insulation melted...im going to r...

yeah i was thinking the same thing. but how much are better rods, pistons, bearings, fastners and rings, as i think they would be the most important to strengthen. the rest could remain o.e quality?? the only rebuild kits i can find are on ebay and i wouldnt purchase even a gasket set off of them.ho...
