that doesnt sound right. i thought i read that the exhaust miata cam went on the intake cams spot on the mx3 and vice versa

durham college for mechanical engineering non-destructive. i am taking this year off tho to save again plus i had a cple courses to do for my racing charges. the newest thing im on house arrest too. so it looks like it will be september when i go back.

could be your clutch fork possibly too but doesnt sound at all like ur tranny, but something related to the clutch

i agree valve seals. but with gone or worn valve seals, there should be blue smoke on start up till it warms up a little then it will stop. have u checked ur rocker cover gasket as mines shot, and the oil is not leaking onto the spark plug boots, but just out of the front sides and back. so check yo...

im sure u could make it fit as mazda did in the mazdaspeed 3 but id imaginge the hardest part would be getting the hood to shut as thats a taller motor, especially with the top mount intercooler
