Now it seems you're doing really well in the class you're in.

Nope..this class I am in allows me a lot of free range... most cars built for this class run double if not tripple my budget... its nothing for a street modified car to run a 10 ...

It was very worth it.. I questioned the owner a little more about the parts. Apparently it wasn't an old ebay kit. It's something he's pieced together. Can't wait for the new year to start installing it all.

So last weekend a 5 hour round trip north later I came home with this score for $400..

for the morning runs we just played with shock settings... going from full stiff to full soft.. Not much to report there other ...

So since Crows Landing Rob and I parked the car.. Attempted go run a local event but had an issue with the rad springing a leak... I managed to fix it before another local event where we corded 1 of our spare tires.. not much for interesting pictures or videos..

You'll have the thicker ring gear then.. you'll need to run the counter shafts and ring gear from a 98+ ford escort with a 2.0l split port motor... it's important the valve cover on the motor has split port 2000 on it..

Help, on page 8, I read that there was a Mazda 323 with a V6 using a 3.86 final drive, but that final drive is not listed on page 1 as an available swap for the G series. If that is correct please let me know from what transmission (car/year/model) do I get it. I also read on page 1 of a 3.619 ...

It does work to help stabilize the back end of the car at higher speeds. Especially for that event at Crows Landing. We were seeing average speeds 20mph higher then that of a normal autocross.

The wing does need to be redesigned though. This one went from concept to what you see on the car in less ...

The Mx3 isn't a true OBD2 car like your friends WRX. It's a you nky change over generation o OBD2.. You don't have the same kind of ability to scan and read data like you do on your friends WRX

Are you 100% sure about the level of information side of it? Because it seems like people can get ...

Get the car dyno'd. See what power it's ACTUALLY making. Check engine codes etc. You know a lot of people are converting to OBD2 to run a MAF setup. I think you can buy an OBD2 scanner on Ebay for less than $20 and it will tell you many things. AFR, codes, RPM etc ...

The mx3 gs rack has the best ratio.

I get that people like the idea of freeing up horse power but deleting accessories but I didn't notice any power loss converting from manual steering to power steering.

I ran a manual 323 rack ...

I hated the manual 323 rack. Far to slow lock to lock ratio.
