I ended up finding a vac. hose that was loose the nose needle where the vacume hose plugs into was broken it's made out of plastic because it goes to a sensor that has the mitsubishi sign right next to the runners on the right of them next to the the MAF it's a sensor outside mounted to the engine ...

Hey guys, I am hoping I can ask this question related to TB and the gunk in it and respects to the nice procedure made ... even though i didn't go this hardcore on cleaning my TB as described one time i noticed the start of the carbon build up... so i got one of those spray bottles throttle body ...

Thanks Ryan you're pretty much right but what I did is jumped the two wires together by connecting them to each other and closing the loop i guess... and sure enough the reverse lights came on but i joined them after the switch of course so I am assuming the one i pulled from the junkyard is no good ...

okay so still not working I checked all fuses underneath the dash they were all okay and under the hood where else could there be i don't really have a volt meter but what else do you think might not make your reverse lights work besides that switch

Woooooh thanks for the reply there Dan that cleared up a lot of the confusion I had... you're right I guess you were talking about the o-rings that come with the b&m shifter the rubber ones and you are absolutely right it gets in the way to make it fit as part of it sticking out of the hole but i ...

Okay here is a pic of how it looks like when i put it in from underneath was getting my exhaust made that's when i did it hopefully you guys can tell if this looks like it's all the way in or it needs to be in more

sorry what what do you mean by the o-rings being binding.. do you mean that the o-rings come binded or part of the b&m shifter already and that's why we don't need the stock o-rings that come with it which means we only need the retainer spring .....? still wondering how long is this shifter suppose ...
