I get that the cylinder placement is 1-3-5 2-4-6 but from what I've found online everything has said the firing order is 1-2-3-4-5-6... easy enough. But if you look at the shop manual page G-29, the firing order appears to be 1-2-3-5-4-6 if you look at how the disty is labeled in the picture there...

No, not the cylinder side, the disty side of the cables, as in page G 29 of the OSM.

Trouble after plug wire change

OK, after changing my plugs & wires my car now has an incredibly rough idle with backfiring all over the place. Beforehand it had idled high at startup and had the occasional misfire, but now its sputtering constantly.

Also, the way my disty is hooked up to the motor is not the same as i...

And why would you spend all that money to make the inside of your car look like a candy cane?

Guh.

Pretty much. The drainplug just comes off with a wrench no probs. might need a new o-ring for the end of it, mine was broken. The first time I did the coolant flush I didn't even jack the car up and I didn't have any problems with air getting trapped. I think where the coolant is added is pretty clo...

If you're not good with doign stuff like this yourself and this car is your daily driver, you'll probably want to get this stuff done by the mechanic or else you'll likely be bussing to work for a few days. Water pumps are cheap, about $60 for an OEM pump... They usually replace water pumps and timi...

So what do you think guys, does this kind of car has any major mechinical problems? Well use some common sense here Ahmed. If I was told by a dealer that I couldn't have anyone look at the car and I wouldn't be guaranteed even one day once I leave the lot, I would pick up and move on. Remember that...

stole 4 of 5 cds I had in the car (I suppose they don't like Tool since they left that CD nicely placed on the passenger seat), I dunno about you guys, but I find it ridiculously hilarious that someone would go through all that trouble to break in, cut the alarm, release the steering wheel and try ...

I sat down and watched the clerks cartoons the other day on DVD... Well I should say started to watch them... What a waste of space, no wonder it got canned after only two episodes, that's all I could muster. After seeing those I was quite wary of Clerks II, but I hear its good. Don't get me wrong, ...

Yeah, a lot of americans still do. There's shitty infrastucture down there for broadband, so a lot of people can't even get it, where as up here its pretty readily available and reasonably priced.

For a 13 year old, discontinued car? I'm sure they'll get right on that.

There's a chilton guide for the mx3, check ebay.
