Re: 5 speed Tranny problem V6
Only a tranny rebuild will help this.

Re: how to install timing belt tensionner?
I'm pretty sure there's a FAQ about this somewhere but you put it in a vise and insert a pin or wire to hold it in place.

Re: 626 V6 Mounts??
They don't work, MX-3 mounts are unique. Bad idea to buy a used motor mount anyway.

Re: Automatic to manual swap? Any different from the FAQ?
You'll need to use MX-3 manual trans axles as (I believe) all others are the wrong length.

Re: Need help identifying block code...
Here's a New Zealand MS8 for sale, definitely looks like a Millenia to me. However, it does have the straight (in this case, KLZE) manifold. So you both are right. :D http://www.trademe.co.nz/Trade-Me-Motors/Cars/Mazda/auction-13401772.htm Since the MS8 and Millenia are apparently the same body and ...

Re: EGR System
I used a 1994 626/MX-6 manual for this, hope they're the same. 03 - Crankshaft position sensor #1, the one in the distributor. Bad sensor or wiring prob. 16 - EGR Function Sensor, ECM can't tell if EGR is moving when told to. Make sure EGR can actually move (isn't stuck). Check for wiring problems. ...

Re: KLZE EGR wireing help
Snip off the K8 connector, solder on some female bayonet type connectors and stick them on directly. Cover it up with tape.

Re: Millenia EGR vacuum hose config
The brass looking fitting goes to the air filter housing. The other fittings, one goes to the intake and the other connects to the EGR valve. I can't remember which does which (blue or red dot). However, the vacuum solenoid will not let air pass through it when disconnected and the vent solenoid wil...

Re: Millenia EGR vacuum hose config
Make sure those solenoids will work with your wiring harness (if you want to use them).
I would use the EGR solenoids on your MX-3. You did label everything when you took wires/hoses off didn't you?
