FYI Xero, that is a WATER temp gauge, not an oil temp gauge. Yes, it appears the thermostat could be your problem. A malfunctioning thermostat would also cause your BAC to adjust idle air.

If you get a Jspec MS-8 manifold, then it has a block off plate on the backside of the manifold where the US Millenia has an EGR valve bolted to.

Look on the radiator side of the trans, see the big bolt that's the same size as the drain plug? That's the fill plug.
