I assume you're talking about the CAI and not the intake manifold itself (obviously stock K8) but I read in the left hand column that the intake was an HKS.<p>Why don't you sign his guestbook and ask him a question about it? Without going into a long discussion on this, the cam rotates twice for every single revolution of the crank....so make sure #1 cyl is up with the crank dampner timing mark lined up and then put in the disty with the disty rotor pointing at #1.

Page B2-17 has an excellent drawing of how to align the timing marks. Ignore the paint marks, use the dots on the edge of the cogs.

The first pic you posted has the vacuum port for the cruise control circled. In the second pic, yes, the knock sensor is under there. On your KLZE, just take the knock sensor wiring and route it over to the water pump end since that's where the connector is on the MX-3 wiring harness.

FYI: (stroke x area of bore) x number of cylinders
Area of bore = pi x radius squared<p>75 x 69.6 mm is the bore and stroke of the 1.8
mm x .03937 = inches

You do NOT cut any cable!!!!! PS, rust on outside of pipe, rust on tip, two years old. Kinda expect this since it ain't stainless. <p>If you wanted no rust, then you should have bought stainless or rinsed the underside of your car more often.
