Well heat will be the enemy there. if you do a tranny service, new fluid, new filter, add a tranny cooler It "should" live just fine for some time to come.

Horrid gas millage

Well first off its a 93 1.8l auto, $20 get maybe 120km.....Thats just wrong. It is running right and smooth but the tips are black so its running rich. I did notice a very small light miss at idle today and a low idle condition but i hear that plagues all autos. Its not leaing fuel, everythign is ai...

Ok well look at it this way.... What is your honest goal with this car? Honestly if you will be happy with 175-200hp then go all motor....BUT for the money you spend of building a fast all motor you could build and even faster FI car. Personally im rebuilding a DE with forged rods and forged 9:1 pis...

Basically the car doesnt over or under steer. But you can make it do either depending on how you drive it.

I tend to over inflate mine compare to the stock suggestion, but i stay under the maxium of the tire. Higher tire preasure will help increase gas millage.

Removing the front bar might help understeer but it WILL increase body roll. The better option woudl eb to fix the front and add a larger rear bar and stiffer siffer springs. The stiffer the rear the more oversteer its gonna have. Also moving the batter to the back as well as any other movable weigh...

Why not build one guys? Im willing to bet it would not be hard at all to weld up your own. Im really not a fan of those ractive adjustable strut bars. They rust fast. arnt strong at all, and for the most part useless. That oem one looks nice though. I would love to have one of those. Does a factory ...

I can say i have seen first hand (on a integra) that upgrading brakes wont always make you stop faster. In this case it was worse, alot worse. The extra size killed power, The brakes never heated up enuf to work right and it was all round crap. Personally i would use nice pads on good STOCK sized ro...

Even the landscape can affect gasmilage. The trip with better gas milage might have been on a decline, If it was hotter out it would affect gas millage as well. Even the gas that he bought could have made a differnce. With all that said, lowering i car in theory should improve gas milage. The less a...

Acutally the tower seals go bad on alot of cars period. My neons both did it, my cirrus did it, i think my focus is doing it, ive seen alot of hondas do it. I think its more a matter of any high milage car with spark tubes going through the cover. Pulling the cover, cleaning everything and applying ...

I would imagine you could buy a dead DE and rebuild it and swap it in for less then the cost of the JDM K8 and shipping.

Adjustable end links are really just for correcting for lowered cars, I dont think any further adjustment would help.

If your going all motor you are gonna want to raise compression to...

Or your could just run a bigger rear bar to help balance out the front. On previous car that were prone to understeer and removing the front bar was not an option, I just added a little more rear toe-in and added a stiffer sway bar (usually abotu twice the size as teh front or near to it). This Help...
