Re: anyone have probs with faulty wiring, smoking dash?
I would say that there is a short in your system. Electrical problems will probably get really expensive at garages since it is probably on a labor charge and will probably take a while to find the exact problem. I would try to find the problem by myself, just get a tester and look for resistance/co...

Re: im just about to get a '95 mx3 and....
That's true, alot of guys told me it was a chicks car (of course after i bought it), but I got over it soon after. I love my car, and it is also true that chicks really dig this car. A bunch of girls asked me to ride in it, that never happened with my '86 grand am (it was actually an Am Grand, the l...

Re: funky idle, anyone know?
Mazda got sold to Ford right ?????
I think you got your stories wrong, check on the board, there is a full post on this issue. About the car not living up to what it should, maybe you just didn't get lucky, I know my car has been running fine for the 6 months I owned it so far.

Re: I'm new guy to MX3, need help from your guys
First of all, mind my grammar, i'm french ;)
Sounds like the guys at Best Buy are idiots. Just get some good 6 1/2" speakers and buy a small piece of plywood. Usualy u get a cut out of the shape of your speaker with the screw holes directly on the box. Just trace and cut out 2 pieces of plywo...

Re: Problems going into first gear... Please HELP!!
I know that sometimes when I try to put it in reverse it doesn't want to let me put it in. Just let your car go a bit (if your on a slope like my driveway) or put it in first and just move a bit forward and try again.

Re: The new 2001 MX-3
I used to own a Tempo myself, I think that the only reason those cars still work is because they are not abused like a honda on acura or whatever other type of descent car would endure.
My 2 cents.

Re: Wheel Noise
I just returned it to the guy who took my alternator out. He just took a crow bar to bend it a bit so it would stay clear of the disc

Re: Thumping Noise
I heard that putting noise filtors and ground loop isolator is not the best thing for your audio. Aldo it might seem to fix the problem, it only hides it. The best thing is to find the source of the noise and fix it.
Ok, now you say that it happens when you tap the brakes or turn the lights on, bu...

Re: Wheel Noise
Turns out the problem was probably the back plate that was touching the disc. It stoped making noise....for now ![Wink ;)](./images/smilies/icon_wink.gif)

Re: totaled my Camaro..need new car HELP!
The MX-3 and Camaro are probably really different cars to drive. I think of a Camaro more as a muscle car, and the MX-3 as a compact sports car. As for being fun to drive, I think the MX-3 is fun to drive, but probably not the same feeling you had in the Camaro. And for driver room, I'm not a really...
