Ok After more searching around i relized that the egr port on the TB that was plugged off is now gone causing a major vacuume leak ! So now that I know what the problem is should I just replug it or run a line from the egr port to the intake tube between the maf and TB ? So the air would be metered ...

Ok suprisingly the people who did my exhaust work never reinstalled the cat. and just stright piped it. so i have header, flex pipe, prescilencer and muffler . So now im really baffeled, What else could cause power surging ?

One thing to add is every once and a while ill get a pop, sounds kinda like a backfire between shifts not very often though, i also smell exhaust from the engine bay while driving . cat Sounds like a very good possiblity. I think ill check it out on my day off. Any other ideas are very welcome ...

I have actually done that myself while cleaning up my engine bay. But this problem has persisted for a lil over 5 months. Just cant seem to figure out what it is. Very frustrating.

Your ecu would always use the highest voltage of the 2 sensors which would make you run either more rich or more lean then you currently are. I would keep your current car and use this site for support in fixing your mx. TPS Output voltage

Anyone know what the voltage is supposed to be on the green/white wire at full throttle on the TPS ? Becaust the 5 volt power wire i get 4.97 volts and the output wire green/white at full throttle i get 3.80 volts is this low or high ? Thanks

Try testing your temp sensor , Maybe try a search for hei , a common temp. related no start problem. I cant really understand what your trying to describe.

Thanks I do have a catch can also and have added 5 additional ground points not burning any oil dont have and fuel leaks although Im thinking the problem is fuel related
