Almost sure ECU is gone

I'm starting to look for one in ebay...

Anyone know if K819 ECU is compatible with K839 or K801?

I have power to the coil (12v) with the ignition switch on.

Does that mean ECU is good?

Basicaly sould I concern about the fact I cant put it in Diag Mode anymore

or

only the coil is blow?

Same story here.

Cranks, but no start (no spark).

The problem was, I did a short circuit in the diag box, then motor stalled.


Could be a fried ECU or damaged HEI mod?

Ps. cant' get any codes from diag plug. No more flashing light

I was trying to put the car in diag mode while it was running. Without enough visibility I and jumped B+ and GND by mistake. Then a short circuit litle spark flashed at B+ plug and the car imediatly stoped. Then I try to start the car, it cranks, but no spark at all! All lights at dash board are ok....

Dudes How do you see an engine misfiring above 3k rpm? I don't see it possible.. I don't think so, because, when it IS misfiring, you can EAR the misfire AT IDLE. but then when you climb the rpms, you dont ear any more the misfire but it stills there, just it revs so quickly you cant ear it. If it´s the Lambdas error on the Diag, then yeah, better replace those. Then reset ECU.

You can get them both for less than 50$ on ebay. Universal Mazda 4 wires.

V6, right? If the problem is Idle, you can adjust to specification (650rpm) by puting in diag mode plus adjust screw on throtel body. If the problem is variable idle (up, down) the you got a leack in vaccum system. Check every air hose aroud intake manifold. If the problem is emissions, check cataly...

Good cooling system takes care of block.

Just the exaust valves I'm concerned for the reasons I posted before.



By the way, I think this could be a concern for peoples running high octane gas and constant high rpm.

Well, thanks for reply. I need to know because if they were made with some kind of soft metal they would be consumed by Lpg, wich is the "gas" in feed my motor. Lpg is very dry and not lubrificant like gasoline is. And Lpg heats the combustion chamber lot more than gasline. Then soft metal...
