The stock sensor for the gauge is a simple thermistor 10K or maybe 100K NTC. That means the sensor, as the themperature rises, allows less current to pass trough the wire from ground signal. It works just like a resistor does in electronics, so I think one resistor could be shared. Just measure the ...

2x timming belt jumped a tooth Happend to me when changed the belt. Car hould still run but ONLY with the disty rotated to the max. So, one week later, I had the time to remove it and applied the belt properly to the cams. ( the R one is not so obvious to point) Then it worked OK with the disty at m...

This must be something related to automatic timming adjustment the motor does. I don't know how it works but I know we can ear it... Jump TEN + GND, put the car ON (ignition OFF) and rotate the disty. Can you ear the motor adjusting itself internaly? On my GS I can ear it. If it does not, maybe that...

Do you mean that compression is the free space between piston and cilinder head when piston is on top?

I thought it was the strengh of pistons rings... but now it makes more sense. Thanks :)

Hey Tunes67 why is lower compression better for turbo?

is to allow excessive boosted air escape through piston rings??
