i was checking the fuse to my sunroof and like an IDIOT didnt take the 2 seconds to snap it back on so now it's gone and i'm pretty upset...

i figured it out... on the stock hub there is a plastic ring with two tabs across from eachother (has to do with the turn signal return i think)... if when yo put a hub adapter, or any other wheel for that matter, you have to make sure these tabs pop into the adapter/wheel. the noise was the plastic...

well as long as im not the only one lol... im gonna pop off the ignition cover plastic today to see what that turns up (lost daylight yesterday)...

i just put a momo steering wheel in my car, but now i'm getting this noise when i turn the wheel. sounds kinda like if you were to wet your tires and then turn the wheel while the car was stationary. almost like a rubber, squeeky cartoon shoe leather type of noise. i greased up everything that neede...

if gcs have a 2.5 inch range (half 1.25) and escort struts drop you .5 you're probably dropped 1.75 inches. i wanna drop my car 1.5 just hope i dont have to change tires... how bad are you rubbing? not shredding sidewall i hope

how much did you lower your car? i'm running the exact same wheel setup 195/60/15s on gt3s and was going to buy some h&rs (1.3/1.5 drop). the tires are immaculate falkens, so i wouldnt be looking to change the tire size until i put some wear on these babys.

im actually trying to avoid lowering it... i already lost a lot of clearance w/ the bumper (more than the pics do justice). ive only bottomed out twice on sorta steep driveways, but it drives me crazy... i think the thicker tires address the wheel space a little. what i really want to do is get some...

took some people's advice and went from a 17 inch motegi 205/40/17 to a 15 inch rota 195/60/15 :

i threw a rod bearing and it sounded exactly like that. it all started with low oil too. if your oil light is flickering too, thats probably the culprit.

ill post some pics tomorrow when i get out of class. also, my girlfriend's dad works at fedex. i can get a decent shipping quote (i can get up to 60% off oversized stuff).

i have an extra back seat bottom i can sell you. vinyl was repaired in the middle toward the front, but it's really in good shape otherwise. i can post some pics if interested
