Re: when will there be real projectors?

I (MOCA) might have a kit in awhile, but they will require heavy modification to the stock unit. Probably not for the technically challanged or light of wallet. They have cost me about 800-900 for the pair so far. Twin Hella 90mm projectors, Shweet though.

Yeah I also took a RSX typeS, but watch out for them at high speeds. That darn 6th gear will get you at about 110mph. hehe Course I'm sure that my 2 subs and boxes made of 3/4 MDF aren't helping my top end not to mention all the other stereo crap. <small>[ June 01, 2004, 01:54 AM: Message edited by:...

Re: Strange wire hanging down beside the Flexpipe in front o

Yeah, mine broken wire was also the neutral switch and my car would also almost die when I put it in neutral and brake. So double check your wire colors b/c I think that they are both green, one solid and one with a black stripe. The switch is on the side of the tranny closest to the fire wall and l...

Re: Clearance issues with any intake manifolds?

I have the millenia style and with phenos and the strut bar won't fit unless I decide to modify it. That stinks. I use the straight neck ZE manifold and the Phenos and I can still use the strut bar with about 1/2 inch of clearance. I have also checked to see if it hits the strut bar under accelerat...

Re: possible group buy for V6rs I GOT WHAT YOU WANT!!! :)

haha, let the ideas begin. This is what happened to the headlights, everyone wanted something different and then it never even left the ground. The whole point of a kit is so that you don't have to source different parts. You get it all in a box and go. If you don't like what comes in the kit then c...

Re: KLZE STATS

My top speed is about 135. But the stock speedo isn't going to be correct at that speed. Tranny limited (redline in 5th gear), and hauled *** all the way to 135MPH. Racing a RSX Type S. ZE and a 1.8L tranny.

Re: Weird Electrical Problems

Could be several problems, but check the batery voltage first, if you have 12 volts now and it only cranks once then check it again in a few hours if it has less after only one try you have a short in the wire and nedd to replace your battery wires (both) and check for any other places that may have...

Re: removing ecu speed/rev limiter

Why in the hell would you want to do that? So that you can over rev your motor and blow it up or becuase you like to rev the motor so high that it has no power anyway. All the V-6s start to loose HP and have no real torque past 6500 anyway. there is no sense in running past that you'll just go slower.

Re: Strange wire hanging down beside the Flexpipe in front o

Check the sensors on the tranny. I had one break and it took me doing a motor swap to find it, hehe JK, The manual tranny has 2 sensors and they are tucked in a place hard to see from either side. I'm not sure what colors the wires are, but that may be it. Those are the furthest wires back on the ca...

Re: Extra Fuel Hose??

OMG! Did you do the swap?, All cars have 2 fuel lines, one from the tank to the fuel rail and one that bring the unused gas back to the tank. The one from the tank will go through the fuel filter to the rail and the other will connect to a hard line on the fire wall. I don't know which you don't hav...

Re: need cold air intake idea's

1.6L? Do you have a V-6 or 4 cyl.? Anyway you can make one from stainless or steel, both are sold by JC Whitney in a mandrell bent "U" pipe, under the exhaust section, that you can cut and then have welded at a local muffler shop. As for the MAF or VAF you really should keep it unless you ...

Re: rubber seal around timing belt cover

A better idea, if you still have the old gasket from the ZE or from your 1.8 is to take it to a auto body repair supply store. They usually have a variety of seals for different applications. You can pick up something similar and get it to fit or glue it to the timing cover (a much better idea than ...

Re: Looking for a good clutch

I hear that both the Exedy and the Clutch Master are both good. I know people who used both kinds and neither have had problems. Both are alittle over stock and drive pretty hard. I use the ACT stage III, but that is for more power MX-3s. It is great if you plan on adding about 100HP soon. So really...
