Re: What engine do I have?
You can use the 1.8 intake I you need to. It will give you less HP, but will be an easier fit and all you have to do is hook up the vaccum lines the way you took them off.

Re: clutch bad?
You'll find the bleeder valve on the slave cylindar wich is bolted to the top of the tranny. Just connect a hose from the bleeder vavle to a catch can and some brake fluid. Fill the REAR resevior (the clutch uses brake fluid from the brake fluid resevior) of the brake fluid resevior. 1. Push clutch ...

Re: mx-3 to drag car...
They don't add any real HP or torque on a stock or lightly modded motor. Yours may be different. The weight savings is pretty big, not sure about the diameter of the pulley, but they are a waste for most people.

Re: ok....I NEED PERFORMANCE AXLES
I know this is no real test of stregnth, but I was pulling a motor for one of the guys in MOCA and was going to just cut the axle instead of trying to get the pain in butt axle nuts off. A sawzaw, lots of sweat, and 3 blades later the axle had a scratch that was less than the blisters on my hand. I ...

Re: temp sensor, plz help
You have to take that part of the coolant line off so that you don't get shavings in it then drill it out to the size of the sensor threads minus the threads, then tap (after guaging the sensor threads) it so that the sensor will screw down. It is a major pain in the butt. i think that it took me ab...

Re: Higher compression pistons
12:1 compression can handle up to 5psi on 100 octane without detonation. 92 octane can only handle about 12psi. More boost will require better octane. Source: Maximum Boost by Corky Bell

The only definate way to check is to look on the head or have it dynoed. I'm not usre if the old and new ZEs have the same head code though.

The rotor will rust and it probably rusted to the pad and just needed to be freed up.

Re: V6 axles
There is a minimal difference in legnth, most places sell the same axle for both ATX and MTX. As for the differnce in ABS and non I don't think there is a difference except one has the ABS gear and the other not. You might be haveing a problem with the fact that the ABS one weighs more than the othe...

Re: where to buy alternator / what kind
If you want more output then you need to do the Millinia alt. swap it is 120amp, the one you have now is 90amp. All you have to do is search for the post, it gives good instructions on how to do it. Some rewiring is needed, but simple. You also have to get the mounting bracket for the alt. so it'll ...

Re: fuel needle
F-ed, you have to buy a new guage pod to get a new needle, I don't think that Mazda stocks it seperately. The gas light should come on, but I wouldn't trust that, you'll end up walking alot.

Re: Do I have to hook up the vacuum hose to the intake accor
Uh, what? you should have a hose that connects the front and rear valve covers together and they have a T in the middle that goes to the intake. All of the hoses are about 1/2 inch in diameter. All you have to do is place a breather in the T where it splits to go to the IM. There is another vacuum h...

haha, I waited almost 6 months for my Mazda Speed engine mounts from Cork Sport. Idiots, told me every couple weeks that they'd have them in a few days.
