Re: 2.5 swap .........won't start
I think you'd have to get a J-spec wiring harness to ge tthe knock sensor plug on the other side. As for splicing the two wires to a no-connector fit, I wouldn't. One day you'll need to take the manifold off and have to cut the wire and wire the plugs in anyway. Also the reason that the one wire is ...

Re: Manual Transmission to Redline
Geezum petes guys!!!!, the way to fill a G series tranny is to remove the speedo gear and the "filler" plug (it is actuall the FULL plug)you pour into the speedo hole and when it is full it will spill out the FULL plug so that you don't overfill it. Make sense? Make sure that the car is le...

IanL gave you the answer on ** to check for a faulty TPS in his reply. Dang Ian you know alot of stuff. Are you a mechanic, master tech? As for the wobbly shifter you might also check the rubber boot that holds the shifter above the unibody. I have seen a few that the rubber boot failed and the shif...

Re: Mx3 gs engine question??????
If oil is on the spark end it is the piston rings, if it above the threads it is the valve cover gasket, but I'd not try any additives, just keep oil in it. It will use more gas b/c the oil in the combustion chamber messes up the burn, but it should last quite awile like that. As long as you make su...

Lots of difference between a 75 shot and a 125 shot Bro. Even if you were running 2 bottles.

Re: Idle weirdness
Geez I swear these cars have the worst problems with idle. It is allways either a vaccum problem or a TPS problem, a poor neutral switch will cause it to die when shifted into nuetral too.

Re: Few Small Problems
I'd leave the bearing up to a profesional if you are not sure you can do it. If you score the bearing seat at all while replaceing it you have to buy a new hub. There might be some naysayers about this, but a bad bearing seat will cause the bearing to wear out very quickly.

Re: ZE swap prob
The sensor on the lower rear side of the tranny is the Neutral switch, the other on the front of the tranny is the reverse switch, the one on the top is the speedo sensor, as mentioned before that is where you fill the tranny with fluid, but remember to remove the plug on the front side. Look in a C...

I would think so. I go from 2.5 to 3 with a Home Depot rubber fitting for plumbing.

My ZE with remapped ECU, 1.8 VAF, and all new exhaust passed better then my 1.8L ever did, and I've had the car since 33K miles.
