Geez I swear these cars have the worst problems with idle. It is allways either a vaccum problem or a TPS problem, a poor neutral switch will cause it to die when shifted into nuetral too.

I'd leave the bearing up to a profesional if you are not sure you can do it. If you score the bearing seat at all while replaceing it you have to buy a new hub. There might be some naysayers about this, but a bad bearing seat will cause the bearing to wear out very quickly.
