the IM is pointing the opposite way in the miata

plus the flanges from a miata engine and MX-3 engine are different o you cant jsut swap the header and manifold

the pistons dont seem to worn, just baked on oil. in my opinion (may not mean anythign) those parts seem pretty good. if i were you i would buy new oversized piston rings, new valve seals, and get your block milled out (if you can ever remove it from your car) so teh new piston rings will fit. if an...

well this seems to make sense to me...

maybe its your fuel pump or regulator, and when you turn right, all the fuel slides out of your fuel rail, which would make sense of the not happening on the left hand turn (it would force fuel into the rail)

if you were to install a oil catch can, wouldent you want to hook it up to the other hose coming out of the valve cover (upper right hand side of the picture) if im not mistaken they both do the same thing, just at different spots in the intake that being said is there a way to hook it up to both wi...

wish i could help, i didnt do any compression tests. but from yours its obvious all pistons are experienceing the same effects. so that alone would make me guess its a fatigue type incident, not just a small blow-by in one cylinder all i knew is that i was burning oil, and that it would stop after a...

i dont know about the bolts.. but valve seals my valve seals went and it looked almost identical to that. had some oil in the intake but more so in the exhaust manifold. what would happen is on cold startups my oil would leak through the seals... burn in the engine and get in the manifolds. then aft...

if your timing belt is loose, it might have slipped, there is a possibility your cams are no longer properly timed with your crank... i would try retiming the engine

my timing belt slipped once. it was only a few teeth but still enough to not let the engine run.

also i know this sounds simple but did you check your throttle body?

the gas lines are easy to check, they run inder the drivers side of the car. its pretty east to spot wet hose.

however if it is your exhaust it shouldent smell like gasoline.. if it does you could have a host of problems

i like the g-reddy e-manage2

it costs a pretty penny but its worth it in my opinion cause its one of the only ones that can set ignition timing. you useually have to get a modified disty to do that

ahh the clutch is amazing. the car has a whole new feel. the accelarator is so much more responsive to the wheels. found out i had a rear mainseal leak. a whole 2 quarts of oil leaked into my bellhousing. so my engine ran on literally no oil for around 2 days with my sister driving it. the engine wa...
