get a brush used to clean out gun barrels, i wouldent use water in the oil passeges, or solvent in the coolant passages, just in case it dosent compleatly dry, but i dont see a problem if your patient.. i know im not

i need new weatherstrippinng on my drivers side door, apparently the owner before me just glued the old crap back in the grove and its falling apart.

i searched on rock auto and got nothing, anyone know where i can get some?

if the vavle cover is cracked and the exhaust manifold is qeustionable, then befor you swap take the head off and have it and the block tested for being level. cause if it hit the engine hard enough to crack the valve cover the head prolly isnt sitting correctly on the block, causeing all sorts of t...

i was in the exact same situation, except my sister put a trailer hitch right through the radiator and exhaust manifold and nearly tore the head off the engine... fair to say i no longer felt the engine was satisfactory

The F-Series B6 box is shorter gearing in 1st n 2nd and monster taller gearing in 4th n 5th, 3rd seemed pretty close to being the same
ive never torn a tranny apart before, is there a way to sawp out the gears from the different trannys for shorter gearing and better acceleration?

think of it this way... its not about volume its about speed... with the greater surface area of a larger filter, the suction of the turbo has to act over a wider area, therfore the force the turbo is enacting per inch of filter will go down. and it will get to the point where the force cannot effec...

bp tranny

what transmission (manual of course) would be best to use with a BP? i have heard the B6 (stock) transmissions cant handle alot of upgrade in HP on the BP but i have also heard the protege bp transmissions are crap and arnt built well for speed.

sounds electrical, not mechanical... i would be willing to say its more likely something effecting your readouts, not the imputs from the sensors

that hose your referring to is a small bleedoff hose that allows air to go from your intake into your head, since the pcv valve is pushing air out, it need to replace the dirty air with new air from your intake
