well at least its typical, must just be the lack of power. i dont think i will retard my timing, that will cut down on low end and acceleration is whats important, its not like im going to be doing nascar

im wondering about an issue i have. when i go all out in my car, i can only get going to about 5000 rpm's in 4th gear (about 95mph) and then the engine crawls. even if i pop it into 5th, it still takes forever for the car to accelerate after that. it will remaint at 95-100mph if i keep the pedal flo...

it really depends. the only time i would be concerned with valve springs is 3 things 1. the stock ones are old and not gonna give the valve the nessicerry tension to work 2. the engine is rebuilt and is going to be revving up past 7000 RPM 3. heavy turbo or NO2 useage any of those 3 things could cau...

one expensive peice of rubber....

i think ill just go to the junkyard, im sure all mazdas are pretty much the same, ill cut a foot or so section of it and replace my torn peice. ill tell you how my plan works out

i am out of my league on this one... i didnt know B5 heads fit this is just guessing... i would rather have my water passages blocked than oil, as long as oil is getting to the head... good. a head can survive without coolant...the block cant, but the head can. on the other hand, neither can survive...

i mean, in the oil it could be sludge, baked oil... ect..

in the coolant it oculd be mineral deposits.. not sure what elts. all i know its not good for it to be there
