i usually launch my car at 3 grand. it'll hop once or twice but then it hooks up and takes off. i usually always pull the hole shot at the drag strip just launching it like that

it is probably your alternator. most of what is sold now a days are all remanufactured. but before you go and get a new one or anything just give a tug on you battery cables to make sure they're tight. you wouldn't believe how much this happens.
