are you sayn that you see a wire coming from the fuse box with melted insulation? is the fuse in the middle of the interor fuse box that sticks out blown? i think it is a 10 or 15 amp fuse and it supplys the interor lighting, radio and clock .

is there anyone in north texas dfw area that has a ze intake? i would love to see what it would take to make it fit. also i want to know if relocating the mastercylinder reservoir and battery would provide enuph room?

it sounds like ur base idle is set to high. it is normal for the idle to go up slightly when u push in the clutch and shift into 1st . if your base idle is to high the engine will surge anytime the ecm raises the rpm for anything. like p/s a/c or engage the clutch adj. tps and base idle speed should...

if your vacume reservoirs do noy leak and the ckeck valve workes the virs will still work. there is very little vacume in the im at wot with a na motor the check valve keeps vacume in the reservoirs to maintain virs opperation
on a stock set up.

i have to wonder if the filter clamp or filter body is hindering vaf plunger movement . or a cracked vaf body being warped by ur filter clamp squeezing the vaf out of shape
