it would help to know you year make n model but fans are pretty tough on mazdas and rairly fail [ atleast in texas]

older models have a thermo switch near the t stat housing very common failure
later models the fan is controled by the ecm

ussually a bad relay or temp sensor / fan switch

15 amp i think and i used the stock fuel pump + supply wire to trigger the relay

i tested voltage at the fuel pump before i added the relay it was 11.5 - 12
at idle and 4k rpm
after i got 14.5 all the time to the pump

did you buy a 7 terminal dis. cap like one from probe talk or did you mod one? a secondary voltage leak would be visable in the dark so u could rev the engine with the lights off at nite and look 4 the arking or you can spray water on the dis cap and wires and look 4 arking i dont mean use a water h...

no still could be a bad connection because when you rev the engine in neutral the engine is not doing any work and the igniton system is also not doing much work but in gear under acceration [half to full throttle] the engine is under load and the ign. sys. is working hard to keep up the descrption ...

i made my own ground wire setup on my klde mx3 and my bp mx3 and both cars ran smoother but the klde ran beter at all rpms i dasychained the wires from the body ground neat the battery to the rear head then to the distrubutor and to the alternator also runing a 10 ga wire from the battery to a relay...

no you got it backwards short runners loose torqe and gain high endpower
long runners help low end torque and hurt top end power

i would start by checking the crank pos sensor and cam pos sensor with an o scope but unless you are rich you dont have one but o local mechanic will you can vissually check and see if there is debris in around the crank sensor and check the air gap of the sensor its behind the main crank pulley als...

check the tire itself look for high and low spots on tread and out of round
tire should be smooth
realy bad struts can cause the high low pattern
tire out of roung or tread coming off tire is ussualy from an old rotted tire
