Re: 92 mx3 gs IAC shot?
I agree that jy is best place for a replacement IAC. If you do not have a pull your own parts place then you'll likely have to buy a throttle body from a salvage yard and get the IAC with it. $30 - 40 for the throttle body. An option might be to post a want to buy at this site. Unfortunately you ha...

Re: Intake+TB question.
I dunno if this pertains to anything here but I took the IAC off the ze TB I had and used it on my K8's when it went bad just to get me by untill I could do my swap and the car ran fine so most of the parts are idinical no matter what spec. J or A it should work. I'm with NE4SPDSE on this one you sh...

Re: New ZE installed NO SPARK. ON TIME DEADLINE AND PASSING
Maybe this is too obvious to state but if you're installing the distributor into an engine you still need to turn the crank so it is at top dead center and then put the distributor in so the rotor (button) is pointed at #1 spark plug wire. If you can't see the timing belt and therefore can't see th...

Re: New ZE installed NO SPARK. ON TIME DEADLINE AND PASSING
what exactly are rotor buttons? I think he means the area or "triangular" connector where the rotor pushes on No the long rectangler plastic piece that turns on the disty shaft or triangler piece that spins and hits the electrodes inside the disty cap I used plural because I bought the la...

Yea sad I know bout the ze parts I got the parts for a millenia as far as the rotor buttons and cap. on the ze's disty they're supposed to be the same yea the disty #s goes as fallows KF34 TOT57271 C but that's neither here nor there since that disty is out of the question.

Re: New ZE installed NO SPARK. ON TIME DEADLINE AND PASSING
Okay.. So you know the k8 disty will work, so then u dont use it then make a post saying your not getting spark... hmmm Install the K8 disty, get it running right and then mess with the ZE disty later if you really want it. QFT! You're pressed for time, yet you go the more complicated route and bei...
