For Rims I'm looking at Rota Subzeros or Slipstreams. Wouldn't mind some buddy clubs if I found a deal. All of those are pretty light weight in the 16" size I want to go with. For tires I've gone back and forth about it a lot and decided to use the same model that helped me get 2.0 60s in my p...

its a lysholm which = best s/c type. BUT yes it has lots of reliability problems w/seals leaking & crap. on top of that its HUGE!!!!!!! I've removed many from KJ's. The cyilnder heads on the KJ are spaced apart drastically compared to the KL..to make room for the SC. the SC is also insanely lon...

The tone of the exhaust system can be influenced by a number of factors, including the exhaust gas velocity, the length of the exhaust system, the construction of the silencers, the size of the exhaust pulse, the speed (rpm) of the motor, and the number of cylinders among other things. Generally, y...

It's brand new stock replacements right now, but the brakes turn to mush after one 100+ to zero stop. I couldn't even imagine an autocross right now. It would l...

WTF??? 160whp I understand you're gonna loose a lil bit from the fly to the ground but damn that much??? Most of the KLZE'S I've looked at have advertised at least 218hp at the fly and our cars are (FWD) so there's no drive shaft and rear diff. to turn. Also I have a question for everybody has any ...

Wait. This is supposedly with a Mazda ECU, no AFPR, and stock ZE cams? I'm going to raise the BS flag here. Your shop's dyno has to be WAYYYYYYYYYYYYYY off. I agree the numbers doesn't seem right, with the mods you have you should be in the 160whp range. but good curve on the dyno though. For sure ...

Three other things to consider: 1. If a motor has a higher specific output (I.E. it makes more power from the same displacement), each exhaust pulse will have more “punch” (I.E. it will have a higher velocity and pressure than a lower-powered pulse), and would therefore require a larger diameter ex...
