Well for one the KL-36 ECU will not operated the EGR. Also what EGR are you using( Millenia or K8 )?? There is a difference, Millenia is on the intake manifold, and K8, KLDE are located on the block. Sounds like an ignition module!! I had one go out that way. It sounded like major top end knocking and taping and then.....Hwy and stalled out. Start thinking anout an HEI conversion b4 it happens. HELP!!!

I'm loosing my mind. I have a plain jane v6 K8 and for the past week have been gettin a bad motor noise and vibriation while the car is at Idle and when going down the road the noise is noticiable and so is the vibration. but mostly at Idle it's not a knock,it sounds as thou.it's cammed and it aint....

Come to think of it I dunno if you can really feel the vris in the k8 but come to think of it I don't really get a kick outta mine eiter hell it'll barraly spin a tire.and gotta rev it to bout 4000 to 4500 and dump the clutch to get it to do it now. Any suggestions??

read the page seems more like a sales pitch page to get you to use ammsoil. I change it at every 3000 weither i'm useing conventional or synthetic.Mainly cuz I drive really hard from time to time.

Yea I tried the full synthic castrol in my mx when I first got it 83,000 miles ran 20w-50 and it seemed to burn it faster than the conventional highmilage 20w-50.Also I have pretty much in the past 2-3yrs. ran 20-50 mainly cause of what I've understood that the thicker the oil the better protection ...
