I think either your gas tank float dropped or you are having a fuel pump issue.
Something to check also is your fuel filter.

so I saw an add for a 92 mx3 M-Tranny that is not running The couple was selling it for $500 US, but I told them I could only muster up $300 and they said it should be fine the old college student plee ;>) so their story goes as this: they drove the car everyday up until they got a new one in June ...
