would't think it's my head gasket because it is raw fuel and the car runs great. When I'm under the car there is 4 or 5 steel lines running from tank area to firewall. I'll have to look at online man to see what all these are. I would assume some are for the brakes.

Thank you for the reply

not currently driving it because I don't want to smell like chicken when I burn up. Why would the gas cap still have a vaccumm if there is a hole in the system?

fuel leak FIXED Thanks patdiesel

I have a fuel leak only when the car is running. It appears to be on the back side of the motor. I've looked at all the rubber lines to rail ( new last year ), filter, lines from tank, and the little C shaped metal line near the filter and I can't find it. Also, the gas cap still has vac after the ...

I believe the passenger window is fed through the drivers switch somehow. Mybe its just the lockout switch on the drivers side control. I know that sometimes my passanger window does the same thing and I have to rock the lockout switch a couple of times to get it working.

when you splice in make sure you place the resistor in the new wire. If you have already done the HEI mode with coil, and did'nt do this, your tac might be fried.

there is a "sticky" for HEI mode. Similar problem to what I had and it fixed it.
If you do the blaster coil you will need 2 power towers, not one.

can you use a ball joint fork? If you're going to replace it, then it won't matter that the boot is going to rip. The forks are cheap.

when you're experiencing the problem will the motor turn over and not just start. Or when you turn the key nothing happens, not even a clicking sound?

I have a GS and was having similar problems. It gradually got so bad that I could'nt get it up to highway speeds without a struggle. Fuel economy went into the toilet. I did the HEI mod with the coil and all seems to be working normal.

I wouldn't think it would be a lack of fuel ( clogged filter ...
