Will the main tensioner by the oildipstick/etc that tightens up your alternator belt inter change with the 93 probe gt?? or does anyone have this part they would sel, i need the nut and inside the bearing piece, i still have the pulley just not the rest of it. thanks

If you have a v6 then i am pretty sure your power steering and water pump are run off the same belt, at least mine is. If this is the case and you take the belt off and try to drive it than you will OVERHEAT and damage your engine if not blow it up. I wouldn't reccommend trying to take the belt off ...

hey, I need to change my clutch, i recently just got the car and i want to know how difficult it is befroe i dive into anything. Are there any good sites with explenations? I also have to change the drive shafts on the front wheels. Are these difficult to change as well?

also check your air flow sensor...mine came off once and wouldn't idle.

k, the fluid is full but kind of a brownish color, so should i flush it and how?? also i will check the tension on the belt tomorrow also. again my belt is not sqealing all the time, just during turns and the temp is staying normal as always, just no power steering now and sqealing while turning it.

if the belt is loose wouldn't that affect my water pump also and possibly over heat? I know the belt runs the power steering pump and water pump but never dealt witha bad power steering pump before.

just asking because this seems to make since and my temp is still fine while driving.

so can i take an atx ecu from a 93 626 and do my swap to the 92 gs mtx model as long as i use the ecu and vaf from the 626?? will it matter coming from an auto to the manual trans? (since the auto mx-3 has a different ecu than the mtx one i guess.

The links on the ford probe forum sound like they would work but i can not get the links to open to show me what to do and what i am looking at. What am i supposed to be shaving off and how much of it? i already have the right size belts, but i just don't know what to shave off. Also the 93 626 ...
