uh...don't use engine flush products.
any sludge that couldn't be flushed out can possibly block oil passages.

What you are trying to tell me is wrong. The o2 sensors...they are fine.
It was the egr valve all along. I took it off, cleaned it out with some good ol' carb cleaner, and now eveything is fine. Must have been some carbon buildup causing it to stick or work sluggishly.
Glad I didn't spend a bunch ...

idle
When the clutch is in, and it is in gear (1st through 5th, including reverse), the engine idle hunts (goes from 500 rpm up to about 1500 rpm and then back down again, over and over). This goes away when i put it in neutral with the clutch still in.

Twitchy check engine light
hi all
my mx3 has 272000km on it and I'm trying to squeeze every last km out of it before a swap/rebuild.
The engine is the 1.8 v6 and it burns a little tiny bit of oil but nothing too bad. I start it up no problem, drive for awhile and only when I'm at about 80 km/hour and up does the check engine ...

Nice...mine looks like yours but with a red front. Mine is a little more beat up right now though but I bought it because its never been smashed and there is no Bondo. The previous owner Krowned it religiously. I would like to find a better engine since the one in my car now has 271,000 km on it and ...
