Driving Lights

Has anyone ever mounted driving lights to the holes where the front license plate is supposed to attach? I have been thinking of getting some round PIAA lights and putting them there. I think they would look awesome there. Kind of a rally car look. Front plates are not required in my state. Anyone h...

Yes, I meant the fuel filter. Sorry for the mistake and thanks for pointing that out.

Mine had the exact same problem. It would die or come close to it in Drive with the brake on. In Park it would idle roughly but would not die. I tried the plug wires, distributor cap, rotor, O2 sensor, air filter too. It ended up being the fuel filter. An inexpensive part but hard to reach to remove...

It was the fuel filter!!!! I changed it Sunday night. Man-oh-man what a difference! And yes, it was a pain to change. I thought I would never get it done it took me so long. Well worth the effort though.

But if the fuel injectors were bad, it seems they would stay bad? How could the cleaner alone make such a big difference?

The fluctuating idle problem completely stops after adding a bottle of fuel injector cleaner. Idle is smooth as silk until the next fill-up. Then the jumping high/low idle returns. Until I add another bottle of fuel injector cleaner and I am running good until the next fill-up.

rough, lurching idle

My rough, lurching idle is driving me crazy. I have replaced the plug wires, (Borg-Warner) distributer cap, rotor, pcv valve and air filter. I put some cheap plug wires on and it got so bad the car would die. The Borg-Warner wires at least keep the idle from falling so much that it dies. I only have...

HA HA HA. The really funny thing is when I could get one (1993)I hated them. Now I think part of the reason I want one is because I can't find it.
