Where do I start?

I have a '92 MX-3 4-cyl. and all that I have done to it is related to the interior and exterior (that's the stuff I know how to do). I what to make the car perform better now. Where do I start? I have some cash to use, but now a lot considering I am a college student. <BR>Somebody help me!!!

K&N filters are a good investment and maybe cheaper than regular filters in the long run. Good spark plugs should get you some power and gas milage. If you can afford it a bigger exaust makes cars faster, 2" to 2.5" seems to be the recomended on this BBS. Synthetic motor oil.<P>These are the things I've done to my car and they've improved durability and/or power. My MX-3 gets about 34 miles to the gallon, and that's at 1 mile up.
