oil light is driving me crazy!!

Ok, I have a 92 MX-3 GS but anyway the oil light keeps coming on yet i am not due for an oil change for at least some time. I need to know whats wrong and im pretty sure my oil pressure is fine but not sure. Please Help

Have you checked the oil in the engine? My oil light came on in my civic but that was because I had hardly any oil in it.

is it knocking when you start it or when you've been driving for a while and justlet it idle a little bit? <BR>I was missing 2 liters of oil when it happenned.<BR>you can also check for your oil pressure sensor
