Vibrating steering wheel 1.6 '98

Post by WhiteFinish »

hi,

Who can help me with a few questions I have.

When I cruise at 60mph the steering wheel is vibrating a lot.
The car doesn't pull left or right, just a vibrating steering wheel.

What can I do with this ?

2nd question.
My fuel gauge is acting strange. When the tank is full of gas, no problem.
It will graduatlly go down untill it reaches 50% full on the gauge.
Than it will drop to empty instantly.

3rd question
The cable operating the gas tank lid. How does that work? I can just pull the lid open, the little lever doesn't do anything.
Just another Mx3 freak :)

Your fuel sending unit probably needs to be replaced, thats why its showing incorrect fuel gauge reading
There is a cable that opens fuel lid, its might've got disconnected or broken, check online shop manual how to fix it.
Steering wheel vibration could be several things, tires needs balanced, worn ball joints/tie rods.

Same vibration problem happened to my car before, and it was because of bad alignment.
