On my 93 GS, the pin that triggers the door light is stuck in the 'closed' position. Has anyone had this problem? How do i get to behind it where the wiring is, and how should i be able to fix it? Any help is appreciated! :D :D

Just took a look at mine. There is a phillip's head (screw?) at the bottom ov the sensor. take that out and the sensor will come out, in theory (never had to deal with it). if that doesn't work, remove the rear seat (top and bottom) then pull the trim panel. There should be access to the harness that way.

You could always spray it with WD40 and hit it a few times to work the lubricant in  . Although, WD40 is pretty much just fish oil or something and may cause the plastic to swell, which would make it stick.

I would just pull one from a junkyard and see how it comes out. If I didn't break it in the process, I would install the "new" one in my car and call it good. Hope this helps.

The screw acts as a ground, unscrew that and it is just 1 wire hooked up. Pull off the wire connector, clean up any corrosion with a screwdriver or something, spray a little lube if you want and reinstall and it should work fine.

Ah yes I completely forgot to post back.

I found another mx3 that was being used for parts, stole the door pins out of that haha.
I tried cleaning up the screw (the ground) on the old pins first, with no success. Throwing in the ones from the parts car worked like a charm however!

Thanks for the help! :D
