MT oil?

Does Mt require any oil change at all? i know AT does

I have heard ov people just letting it ride. I would suggest at least keeping an eye on the fluid level. If you develop a leak, may as well dump to make it easier to work with, then add new fluid. Just avoid cheap gear oil that has sulpher in it. I hear it destroys the syncros. IIRC. But the manual transaxle doesn't have a filter or anything like an automatic, that would get clogged. So it is def less dangerous for us manual guys/gals. Hope this helps.

There are recommended replacement intervals. I generally change mine based on colour.

Sid is right about the sulfur killing sychros. Oils that claim to be GL4/5 are no good, basically. If I were you I'd use ATF if you live in a very cold climate, otherwise Redline MT-90.
